NIMS Chairman Professor (Dr.) Balbir S. Tomar was honored with ‘Rajiv Gandhi Award 1998’ for his excellence in the field of Pediatric Gastroenterology. In 1995, he received National Award for his pre-eminence in Pediatric Gastroenterology by “Indian Academy of Pediatrics”. international Award for the year 1995-1996 of the International Society of Pediatric Gastroenterology & Nutrition for outstanding contribution in the field of Pediatric Gastroenterology, He-pathology & Nutrition.
